CK Power is looking for a Production Scheduler at our St. Louis location. The Production Scheduler , is responsible for creating, maintaining and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments to align production activities with business objective and customer demands. What You’ll Do Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory requirements. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or operational disruptions. Schedule plant to allow for the greatest efficiency and productivity. Minimize downtime and clean outs between production runs. Maintain and measure forecast against actual production and identify trends. Review production performance and update planning related data to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity within Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans and processes that supports the Company’s goals. Conduct weekly call with site Planners to review site production schedules and ensure adherence to master production plan. Lead review of monthly inventory levels for finished goods. Utilize ERP to auto generate manufacturing work orders in ERP. Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and changes to production schedule. Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers. Manage label room and prepare production packets. Enter production into ERP. What You’ll Need 3+ years of relevant experience in production planning or scheduling. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical skills and ability clearly communicate verbally and in written form. What Helps Proficiency in SAP and other inventory management systems. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles. Experience in inventory control and demand planning processes. Ability to analyze complex data sets for effective decision-making. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams. Knowledge of production planning methodologies and best practices in fabrication processes.
