$33.7K – $42.2K a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level High school diploma or GED Supervising experience Full Job Description The Supervisor of Centralized Scheduling provides a direct link between Centralized Scheduling and clinics and ancillary testing. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily handling of employee questions, handling appointment scheduling, employee scheduling, providing ideas for fine tuning and future operations, and giving proper direction to employees when appropriate.

TECHNICAL TASKS

Handles scheduling and admissions duties while serving as expert on scheduling and admission systems Assures that departmental equipment is operating properly and notifies the Management of equipment concerns to keep down time to an absolute minimum, realizing that downtime can effect service to customers. Assists fellow employees with operational questions to further employee knowledge and ensure a productive and service oriented environment Makes recommendations regarding operational changes that will fine tune department while making it more efficient Maintains consistently accurate timekeeping for the payroll system Assists other office personnel as needed; assumes additional responsibilities while other employees are on vacation or not scheduled to work Oversees the Clerical schedule and ensures proper coverage for the department is maintained. Handles and receives clerical employee call-in’s and adjusts the clerical employee schedule accordingly.

CRITICAL THINKING

Consulting with the Manager concerning the organization of the work of the department in such a manner that maximum results will be obtained with minimum expenditures of time and effort. Continually manages employees and gives direction that will help the department reach stated goals and objectives. Gives employees quality time to ensure effective training and efficient operation of department. Effectively plans and develops goals and objectives for the admission and scheduling process that contributes to the overall department goals. Consistently evaluates the changes in the Department climate and adjusts duties and procedures to continue efficient operation. Provides leadership in maintaining department’s image and communicates the objective of image to employees Other duties as assigned Consistently performs 12 organizational Service Standards Experience – One year Scheduling/Admissions experience, preferably as Scheduling Supervisor or past supervisory experience. Education – High School diploma required
