  • 7 Min Mid Max $51,605 $64,500 $77,397 Role Summary This position will play a key role in organizing various tasks for UM regional campus centers such as coordinating with academic departments to schedule courses, initiating and approving e-forms, account reconciliation, coordination of deliveries between campuses, coordination and processing of textbook orders, preparing institutional reports, and other related duties.

Administers day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of a department or set of departments. Administers fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions, strategic implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative liaising, and reporting. Examples of Work Performed
Initiating and approving e-forms for the Office of Regional Campuses
Coordinate with academic departments and regional campuses to schedule courses through the event planning process
Account reconciliation for regional campus accounts
Coordinate shuttle schedule with the Division of Outreach Shuttle Service and regional campuses
Coordinate textbook orders for the regional campuses
Process travel documents for the Office of Regional Campuses
Assist with the development of annual transfer guides and handbooks for the regional campuses
Plan and coordinate meetings for the Office of Regional Campuses
Liaise and troubleshoot scheduling issues with the regional campuses and academic units
Coordinate scheduling of distance learning classes/classrooms for the regional campuses
Prepare institutional reports for the Office of Regional Campuses
Coordinate with parking services for regional campus parking permits
Essential Functions These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department. 1. Administer and oversee day-to-day fiscal activities, including financial transactions, budget tracking, and expense management for the department(s).
2. Assist with administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records and documentation.
3. Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
4. Support strategic implementation efforts by collaborating with departmental stakeholders to align operational activities with organizational goals and priorities.
5. Serve as a liaison between the department(s) and internal stakeholders, other departments, and external partners or vendors.
6. Conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations on operational and administrative improvement opportunities.
7. Prepare regular reports and presentations on departmental performance, financial status, and operational metrics for management and other stakeholders.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of administrative policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
9. Coordinate and support departmental projects and initiatives, including tracking progress, facilitating communication, and ensuring timely completion.
