, Mississippi Description What The Role Is
The ACH Specialist III possesses detailed knowledge of all aspects of Cadence Bank’s ACH processing activities (systems, procedures, etc.). Provides assistance to customers, bank employees and the ACH Operations Manager. Has prior ACH Operations experience, and is well versed in critical timeframes and processes relating to ACH item processing. Is responsible for the processing and verification of
PEP+ ACH
processing windows.
How You will Make an Impact
Assist internal employees and customers with ACH questions via email and phone
Process and verify PEP+ Windows
Setup of new Direct Send customers in PEP+
Maintain PEP+ Database
Work with an internal ETL group for customers who exceed daily processing limits
Assist with research for outstanding transactions on all ACH General Ledger accounts
Process transactional tickets needed
Assist in processing ACH request for returns
Supply reporting information on transactional activity
Perform other duties/special projects as assigned by the Manager
Remain up-to-date and comply with NACHA Rules and Regulations
Who You Are
Ability to build strong partnerships with teammates and other departments
Good computer skills, proficient in Excel and Google
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Able to work Onsite in a corporate office environment
Able to work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Excellent work ethic with a strong ability to multitask
Proactive in problem solving and responding to internal and external requests
Knowledge of general ACH processing concepts
Knowledge of PEP+ software required
Minimum 5+ years prior banking experience required
Minimum 2+ years prior ACH Operations experience required
Ability to be able to adapt to change, work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
Knowledge of Cadence Bank systems, desired
Develop a continuous program of self-education and improvement
Abide by the policies and procedures approved by the Bank
Regular and reliable attendance
Works cooperatively with others
