Proposed Annual Salary, Hourly Rate or One-time payment Essential Duties Assists Director of Admissions Operations with day to day admissions and CRM processes (release of admissions decisions, consolidation reports, etc.)
Serves as one of the University’s Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Designated School Officials (DSO)
Supports the usage of the Slate CRM communication and event tools
Assists in campus training on Slate CRM usage
Evaluates all files for admissions
Determines eligibility of applications for admissions
Tracks all documentation for each applicant regarding admissions
Generates letters of acceptance and rejection of applicants
Works with Admissions Committee to review borderline transfer applicants
Enters applicant data information in Banner and Slate CRM
Places holds on student files for final college/university transcripts to complete files
Corresponds with applicants, as necessary to obtain required information for admissions
Collaborates with Office of Registrar to confirm and verify transfer equivalencies
Relays admissions decisions to Admissions Counselors
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
More than one year of experience working in a college admissions office

Other Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with high school and college transcript evaluation
Detail-oriented, able to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Banner and Slate CRM, with ability to learn new software/databases
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident and meet other qualifications to serve as a Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Designated School Official (DSO), as determined by the US. Department of Homeland Security
DSO is required to prove this status to SEVP with one of the following: Copy of U.S. passport (current or expired). Copy of a U.S. civil-issued birth certificate. Copy of an alien registration card. Copy of a naturalization or citizenship certificate.

Job Description Summary Assists the Director of Admissions Operations with various admissions processes, including the release of admissions decisions and the use of the Slate CRM communication and event tools. Determines eligibility of applicants for admission to the University, including incoming Freshmen and Transfers. This position also serves as one of the University’s Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Designated School Officials (DSO).
