This position reports toProduction Planning ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing production schedules to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing production data, and optimizing schedules to meet production goals.

The work model for the role is ONSITEThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Senatobia, MS.You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency; Coordinate with different departments to understand their scheduling needs and requirements.
  • Create detailed reports on production plans, progress, and any changes to the schedule; Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Resolve issues that could potentially impact schedule adherence and order fulfillment; Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency.
  • Monitor material inventories, track production progress, and review factors affecting schedules.

Qualifications for the roleBachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field PLUS minimum 1 year of experience as a Master Scheduler or in a similar role in scheduling, inventory management, or a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environmentProficiency in scheduling software ensuring optimal efficiency of the plant and systems; SAP preferredStrong understanding of production planning and scheduling processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and lead when necessaryCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
