Expeditor Filet ‘n’ Fin 5002 Hwy 70 W, Morehead City, NC 28557 Morehead City’s newest coastal fine dining restaurant is pursuing individuals to join our team. Filet ‘n’ Fin, a new restaurant with prime location and major storefront visibility in Morehead City, NC, is seeking enthusiastic to act as a liaison between front and back of house. Experience as Food Expediter in a full-service sit-down restaurant is required for this position. The Expeditor is primarily responsible for plating food orders and ensuring the food is delivered to the customer’s tables rapidly and accurately as well as upholds the standards of the restaurant . Maintaining presentation standards and quality of the food is extremely important to the expeditor’s role. It is this person who will maintain the cleanliness of the expo line, organization of order tickets, and communicate effectively with kitchen. Is a liaison between servers and line cooks during their open hours. This role acts similar to a garde manger. They will be responsible for garnishing plate with sauces prior to placement of proteins and sides. Side dishes and garnishes will also be prepared by this role. Cold dishes will be plated and prepared by this person.
