Planner Scheduler Job Description The Project Scheduler will assist the Master Scheduler in the development and implementation of schedules to support company projects. This role involves performing program planning and scheduling tasks for the organization, and supporting a diverse group of upper management, engineers, and functional personnel in the development of program plans and schedules. Responsibilities + Facilitate project planning by prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and managing deliverables. + Analyze schedule information with project teams and stakeholders weekly. + Generate program plans and schedules from the earliest stages of program development through execution. + Develop solutions to complex problems and support the deployment of new techniques and tools. + Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new and existing projects. + Analyze effects of projects on engineering, facilities, and construction, and determine efficient methods to solve conflicts. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Primavera P6 with a minimum of 3 years of related experience. + Ability to work well with others and convey information clearly and verbally. + Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications. + Experience creating schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling methodology. + Comfortable running project schedule update meetings live with a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degreed individual preferred, but applicable experience with financial, project management disciplines and practices will be considered. + Self-starter with good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities. Work Environment The preferred work location is in-office, though flexibility allows for remote or hybrid work arrangements. Relocation assistance may be considered for individuals interested in moving to the Raleigh-Durham area. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $75.00/hr.
