POSITION PURPOSE
The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination of services between clients and caregivers, for the implementation of schedules, interviewing and onboarding staff to provide continuity of care to best meet the needs of the clients.
Hours:
8:30am-5:00pm

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Schedule caregiver team for hours of service with clients Maintain computer schedules and contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes Maintain client and caregiver schedules, notes and information Monitor shifts to facilitate accurate processing of payroll and billing Lead hiring and onboarding of caregiver team Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball As needed communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures Participate in the 90-day, annual evaluations and performance recognition Demonstrate dependability and reliability Maintain professionalism, empathy, diplomacy and handle urgent calls with a calm, caring tone Rotate on-call evenings and weekends, as directed.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
High school diploma and two years of experience in an office setting, preferably in private duty homecare Previous experience with Microsoft Office, Gmail and learn new systems easily Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work activities to accommodate changes as well as, work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision Ability to generate goodwill for the Agency with staff, clients and their family members
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must be able to properly operate office equipment. Must have verbal and written communication skills All of the above demands are subject to the ADA requirements.
