Job Description Residency Requirements:
Must reside in North Carolina The Office and Operations Support Specialist is a part of the school operations team and focuses on compliance activities at all levels, internal and external to the Stride organization. Student success will be measured by valid and reliable assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and continued institutional growth within the academic community. Join us! This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Maintains student records and data; creates/implements/documents processes that ensure student data validity in Stride and 3rd party databases;
Provide operational support to the managed virtual school programs;
Provide training and troubleshooting on systems used for operational management of schools;
Assist in continued operations process improvements;
Ensure reports and data requests within the individuals assigned areas are resolved in a timely manner;
Participate in responsibilities related to school and corporate compliancy requirements;
Ensure student funding data is accurate;
Participate in funding maximization projects;
Assist in operational data analysis and report compilation;
Help create, maintain, and disseminate operational information;
Proactively seeks out opportunities to provide operational support that contributes to providing excellent service to the schools and their clients.
Provide customer support
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study AND
Three (3) years in operations role OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses:
None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Microsoft Office 365; Web proficiency
2+ years of customer support experience
Virtual school operations experience
Understanding of public school laws and regulations
Excel and SQL programming skills
Excellent time-management skills
Proven track record of timely successful task/project completion
Ability to clear required background check
