Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our 3C Store Fixtures team. The Production Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure the timely and efficient manufacturing of our products. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our production processes and meeting customer demands. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, material availability, and production capacity. Monitor production progress against schedules, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, inventory, and production teams to ensure alignment and resolve any scheduling conflicts. Optimize production sequences to minimize changeovers, reduce downtime, and maximize efficiency. Analyze production data and generate reports on schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage and adjust schedules in response to unforeseen events such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or rush orders. Participate in production meetings to communicate schedule updates, discuss challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material movements, and finished goods. Qualifications 5 years of proven experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (for data analysis and reporting). Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
