If you are a well-organized problem solver with banking experience, then please consider this full-time Bank Operations Specialist role! You’ll provide support to internal and external customers at our client’s Hanover, NH location.
Responsibilities of the Bank Operations Specialist
- Support bank representatives in solving customer-related issues
- Perform research and review and approve notices/statements
- Process overdrafts and chargebacks, balance accounts, adjust checks, and assist with IRA accounts
- Serve as backup for daily quality control of retail processing
- Assist in projects pertinent to system clean up or additional software to the insight system
- Identify and resolve issues, and provide supporting documentation for audit purposes
- Participate in all required compliance training

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of banking experience
- Advanced knowledge of banking regulations including Electronic Funds Transfer Act, Privacy of Consumer Information, ESIGN Act, Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices, OFAC, and the Bank Secrecy Act
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and solid judgment
