Summary:
Develop and manage forecast for long-range planning while considering current materials, lead-time, and manned capacity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain ManagementFive years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows-based programs, and ERP/MRP systemsProven experience with planning and forecastingAPICS certification a plus
Responsibilities:
Identify and implement system/process improvements within schedulingDevelop existing forecasting tools through innovative ideas/projectsConvey and negotiate Master Production Schedule for achievabilityReview/update forecast and master schedule; establish planning calendar updates monthlyEvaluate impact of proposed schedule changes; determine push/pull actions for financial forecast achievabilityAssist production meetings to assess actual vs. plan; update MPS accordinglySupervise/report actual results against Master Production SchedulePrepare/manage master materials schedule using ERP systems; prepare staffing profiles for schedule achievementPlan/schedule materials availability to support production schedulesSupport new Sales Orders/Strategic Customer development through cooperative scheduling using
