Farmsteads of New England is a unique Farm designed to support individuals diagnosed with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, as well as individuals diagnosed with Acquired Brain Disorders. We provide support, care, and lifelong memories. What will I do? As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will work with our Administrators to bring our mission to life by sourcing, hiring and orientating our future leaders and caregivers. Daily Responsibilities Prioritize kindness, dignity, respect, communication, and integrity. Provided and maintain a safe working environment. Provide leadership while executing the mission, vision and goals of Farmsteads of New England. Source and recruit exceptional candidates. Conduct interviews independently and in conjunction with hiring managers. Extend offers to qualified candidates as appropriate. Complete pre-employment screening paperwork in accordance with state and federal laws. Walking candidates through the hiring process. Schedule and conduct new hire orientations. Maintain scheduling for all locations. Assist with basic Human Resources functions as requested. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Position Requirements:

A fantastic sense of humor and caring heart. A kind disposition and desire to help others succeed. Minimum of 2+ Years of recruitment experience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and ability to use good judgment. Must have basic computer knowledge. High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere. Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving individuals with I/DD and Acquired Brain Disorders, but not required. A valid driver’s license. Ability to pass all applicable DCYF, BEAS, Local Law, Federal and other required background screenings per applicable regulations. 18 Years or older at the time of hire U.S. Citizen or possession of necessary papers allowing holder to work legally in the United States. Personal/Professional experience caring for others is a significant plus.
