About the Position We are looking for a detail-oriented Paratransit Scheduler to support the efficient operation of our ADA address-to-address transportation system. This role involves utilizing scheduling software to create and optimize daily schedules, maintaining trip subscriptions, and ensuring operational performance meets service standards. If you have experience in dispatching or scheduling, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital transportation service. Key Responsibilities Use Trapeze scheduling software to create and adjust daily schedules for ADA transportation services. Analyze daily schedules to improve on-time performance and service efficiency. Perform ongoing maintenance of customer trip subscriptions, including system templates for regular trips and daily service. Track and document post-day system performance, including operating metrics and service parameters. Maintain accurate internal records for location closures, customer data updates, and trip cancellations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of six months of experience in paratransit operations or workforce management systems preferred. At least one year of experience as a dispatcher. Strong geographic knowledge of Bergen, Passaic, Hudson counties, and surrounding area. Experience with Trapeze PASS scheduling software required. Ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based software. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
