About the role:
As a Merchant Operations Specialist you will play a critical role in reviewing and analyzing technical and functional operations within our organization. You will be responsible for identifying gaps and developing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve our product offerings. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in strategy, business operations, or consulting roles, who possesses excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze technical and functional operations within the organization. Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements. Balance multiple projects and priorities effectively. Utilize SQL, BI tools, and analytics to drive data-driven insights and decision-making. Maintain a strong focus on detail and accuracy while operating in dynamic customer environments. Communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams across various organizational levels. Identify areas for process optimization and increased efficiency across the business. Owning processes and process improvement initiatives from ideation to implementation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. +3 years of professional experience in sales, administrative, strategy, business operations, or client facing roles. Must have hands-on experience with SQL, BI tools, analytics, or similar technologies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven track record of “Ownership mentality”
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience working within a tech or tech implementation organization, or consulting practice. Highly analytical with a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving. Experience working in logistics and/or supply chain organizations.
