We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist – Trade Processing & Settlement to join our dynamic operations team. This role is critical to the accurate and timely processing of security trades, settlements through DTC, cash and security movements on custody accounts, and client communications. Qualifications:
Education & Experience Bachelor s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in financial services, operations, or trade support. Skills & Abilities PC skills and proficiency with common office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pproblem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure. Highly organized and able to meet deadlines consistently. A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
salary:
$22 – $26 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 4
PMeducation:
BachelorsResponsibilitiesTransaction Processing Accurately process trade and settlement transactions for custody clients and accounts. Verify trade details against broker submissions and ensure all cash and security movements are properly recorded. Efficiently manage daily transaction volumes while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Problem Resolution Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by collaborating with clients, brokers, and internal teams. Escalate unresolved or high-risk items to management in a timely manner. Client & Internal Communication Maintain clear, professional, and prompt communication with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders via phone and email. Provide superior client service by resolving inquiries quickly and effectively. Work collaboratively within the team to ensure seamless operations. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance processes and increase efficiency. Understand how your work contributes to the broader goals of the team and the firm. Participate in initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce risk.
