Princeton Radiology Associates is a physician group practice providing diagnostic imaging services at 11 imaging centers and two hospitals throughout New Jersey and now in Pennsylvania Princeton Radiology Associates is currently seeking an experienced full-time Call Center Scheduler to work at our call center located in Princeton, New Jersey.

• Hybrid eligibility will be considered upon completion of a minimum of six (6) months of continuous employment as a Scheduler working on-site at the centralized scheduling call center in Princeton with a satisfactory performance record, including meeting required performance, punctuality and attendance standards.

Hybrid work schedule will require working in the office every Monday and one additional day during the week at the centralized scheduling call center in Princeton.

Summary of Position:

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments for all modalities for all of our imaging offices. ​ Position supports a high volume of calls as part of our centralized scheduling team.

Responsibilities:

Screen patients for all procedures by obtaining necessary required medical information either from the patient or physician. Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information. Inform patients of exam preparations, precertification requirements, and directions to the appropriate imaging office. Respond to same day procedure calls according to established procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Two years medical office related work experience required. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9:30am-6:00pm and one Saturday monthly 8:00am-12:00pm. Once eligible for hybrid work schedule must be able to work the hours stated above and must be able to work in the office every Monday and one additional day during the week at the centralized scheduling call center in Princeton. Demonstrated proficiency with computer technology and medical terminology. Ability to handle multiple tasks on a timely basis and work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and present a pleasant, professional demeanor/image during telephone conversations or in person. Adherence to follow established procedures and make sound decisions based on those procedures. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to policy.
