SNI Companies is working with a large Medical Practice who islooking for a Scheduler in Mercer County, NJ. This a great role foranyone who is looking to get into the medical field, has awillingness to learn, and can build a good rapport with customers.

Job Duties Include:

Expedites patient care by scheduling patients’appointments accurately and efficiently. Answers 50 telephone callsin the scheduling queue daily. Supports Lead in achievingdepartmental standard for wait times, work times, and abandonmentrate. Verifies insurance contract requirements when schedulingexams and reminds the patient of these requirements. Verifies allpatient demographic information. Accurately schedules exams for theproper modality, time, machine, and Radiologist. Effectivelyexplains preps (actions a patient must take for a proper exam) tothe patient, using terms the patient can understand. Verifiespatient understands all prep instructions. Provides back up toScheduling clerical support responsibilities, such as clearingright fax and batching scripts into system, verifying out-goingfaxes are successful and calling offices when clarification isneeded. Interfaces with Lead regarding any and all departmentalconcerns. Attends staff meetings regularly and follows all companypolicies and procedures. Hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm and oneSaturday 8am-12pm every 7-8 weeks.
