Production Planner/Scheduler iSpice Foods 9 Elkins Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations within the manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with various departments to streamline processes, improve productivity, and maintain high-quality standards. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand and operational capabilities. Collaborate with production management to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Utilize MRP systems to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials for production. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities. Coordinate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet established standards before shipment. Assist in the assembly and fabrication processes by providing accurate scheduling information. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Support plant management in forecasting production needs based on historical data and market trends. Skills Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, including Lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in MRP systems and operations management software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of quality control processes and standards within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining clear communication. Experience in production management, including scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.
