Radiology Scheduleris responsible for the completion of setprocesses and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members ofthe care team to support the vision and mission of theorganization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Leanprocesses. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical andservice goals.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday a 40-hour work weekto be determined by the supervisor between the hours of 11:00 am to8:00 pm.
Rotating Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

PrimaryResponsibilities:
- Obtain accurate and updated patientinformation, such as name, address, insurance information
- Performinsurance verification on the date of service
- Schedulingradiology procedures in an organized and efficient manner
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures andrequirements
- File and maintain medical records
- Confirms andschedule appointments
- Answering incoming and outgoing telephonecalls promptly and courteously
- Perform referral documentationpromptly
- Performs certain follow-up services for patients in aprompt and courteous manner, such as scheduling specialistappointments, scheduling follow-up appointments and obtainingcopies lab results or specialist reports
- Adhere to the standardsidentified via Sparq regarding Optum Employee Policies
- Workcohesively with fellow employees to achieve specific team goals
- Keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to theirposition, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality andabiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Comfortable working inhigh pace environment
- Participate in planning, coordinating, andimplementing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team inaccordance with the Plan of Care
- Assure the continuity of carethrough scheduling and tracking systems
- Provide effectivecommunication to patient / family team members and other healthcare professionals as evidenced by documentation, case conferences,communication notes, and evaluations
- Comply with administrativepolicies to ensure quality of care
- Demonstrate precision andefficiency in scanning documents and monitoring the fax server,retrieving and / or scanning documents and assigning to theappropriate electronic chart
- All employees are expected to keepabreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position,which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding byall HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Cross-train and help in otherlocations if needed

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1years of customer service or healthcare related experience
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency (multitasking throughmultiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to travel to other offices if needed for coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience working inmedical front office position performing duties such as schedulingappointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification,collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records
- Experienceworking with an electronic health record (EPIC)
- Knowledge ofRadiology
- Knowledge of Medical terms
- Experience working withscheduling programs

00to$28.85per hour based on full-time employment.
