Expeditor Position Available In Nassau, New York

Expeditor Penta Restoration Corp Greenvale, NY 11548 Penta Restoration Corp. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of permit applications and ensuring regulatory compliance with the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB). This position plays a critical role in ensuring our projects meet all required timelines and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit all DOB permit applications, including new filings, amendments, and renewals Manage and organize all required documentation, including PW1/PW2 forms, zoning diagrams, and compliance certificates Liaise directly with DOB examiners, borough offices, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication Track permit progress and proactively resolve any objections, violations, or requests for additional documentation Monitor the status of open applications and follow up to ensure timely approvals and final sign-offs Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all permit-related activities and communications

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working with DOB permit applications and filings (NYC experience strongly preferred) Familiarity with DOB systems, including DOB NOW and BIS Strong understanding of NYC zoning, building codes, and compliance processes Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general document management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with restoration or construction firms Knowledge of building plans, code interpretations, and filing strategy Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multiple departments
