Operations Associate LensDirect.com 401 Franklin Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530 OVERVIEW LensDirect is a leading online retailer in the vision care space. Our team works hard to ensure the services we provide are top tier. We are seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized individual to join our team as an Operations Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently pairing eyewear frames with lenses, managing inventory, and reviewing orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pair orders with eyewear frames & appropriate lenses according to order specs. Manage inventory of eyewear frames and lenses to ensure adequate stock availability. Coordinate with colleagues to replenish frame & lens inventory as needed. Review orders for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies. Communicate professionally with colleagues regarding order issues that may arise. Process orders in a timely manner, ensuring prompt pairing and staging in the lab. Troubleshoot and resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with Customer Service and Shipping to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate to ensure healthy stock levels.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; additional related experience is a plus. Previous experience in order processing, inventory management preferred. Knowledge of eyewear products and prescription lenses is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing. Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage volume fluctuation. Keen ability to prioritize tasks effectively and balance order volume as needed. Proficient computer skills, experience with inventory management software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility to shift priorities and workload based on volume demands.
