The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations for raw material and garment development sourcing and communicate to vendors raw materials to be ordered for seasonal development.
• Utilize cost matrix by category during proto plan discussions to direct design and product
• Development on raw material selection and style development to meet category cost and margin goals.
• Drive time and action calendars and escalate to management accordingly
• Communicate daily with all vendors/agents regarding the status of samples and bulk deliveries
• Send package to Vendors/Agents and buyers
• Issue and update all purchase orders within ERP
• Create an order sheet, WIP, cost & M/U sheet and shipment chart to follow up the order
• Organize / track all order details (L/D, trims, fabric, samples) within excel chart to retain updated detail status
• Review all submissions with management to release submission comments to overseas
• Perfect communication and computer skills
• Collaborating with the related departments
• Keep a constant flow of communication with factories and team members
• Arrange QC for actual products from productions
• Understanding of planning for the production environment.
• Communicate with the buyers to meet all requirements
• Timely communication with overseas to ensure shipment bookings and shipping docs are submitted on time
• Track containers to be delivered to warehouses on time.
• Review all shipping docs to review prior to passing to logistics

• Train/Mentor Assistant and Associate Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of production experience in Apparel.
• Costco experience will be great
• Bachelor’s degree
• AMT ERP experience will be great.
• Proven garment manufacturing and sourcing experience
• Understanding of garment construction and BOM
• Knowledge of production, including manufacturing, product engineering, product lifecycle, calendar management, trade regulations, fabric performance and garment construction, and testing standards
• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, detail-oriented, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written & Verbal communication
