Job Description

Job Profile:

BET International Coordinator Role
The BET International Coordinator is vital to managing all logistics and coordination across all BET Regions (France, Africa, UK and Brazil). This person will be responsible for managing all administrative, organizational, and secretarial tasks as and when required.
Here”s a breakdown of the job profile:

  • Coordinating travel, accommodation and on-the-ground logistics for Tentpole events i.e. BET Awards
  • Managing accounts, expenses and related paperwork
  • Liaising with various departments and providing coordination support across BET US departments and International teams:
  • Collect and distribute creative assets for tentpoles and linear series
  • Provide monthly US Pipeline Programming updates
  • Have ability to use the RAD Report tool to update end dates on pipeline series
  • Collect regional premiere dates for tentpoles and plan ops meeting with live events team to ensure seamless delivery
  • Provide support on-site for content shoots/events relating to BET International markets
  • Request, respond, track + organize inquiries for specific assets from US Brand Creative Team (promos, AE files, key art, etc.)
  • Work closely with social team to ensure our regions receive all assets timely
  • Collect and organize assets for tentpoles for Yangaroo team
  • Update master library to remove titles that have expired + add new series to FY2025 roster as we acquire rights
  • Manage + delegate tasks to PBEs (project based employees) on specific projects / tentpoles
  • Process all invoices, and paperwork + timesheets for PBEs
  • Meeting Attendance
  • Biweekly BET Movies team meeting to confirm international premiere rights, delivery details and provide them international airings
  • BET UK catch up meeting w/ action items
    o Social assets, on air-promos
  • Weekly ops meeting (tentpole based)
  • BET Legal x VH1 series weekly meeting to confirm available series in perpetuity to INTL regions (ongoing project)
  • BET International Programming Meeting
  • Lead meeting reviewing the BET US Pipeline series, collect air date and premiere information from each team + provide updates on any new programming available
  • 2025 BET Bi-weekly Synergy meeting
  • Meeting with BET US Programming team detailing in-house BET series premiere dates and updates on production, rights, etc.

  • Alternate bi-weekly meetings with regional programmers (Abi
  • France, Nicola
  • UK, Sabiera
  • South Africa, Danusa
  • Brazil) to check in on series performances, asset needs, stunts planned and marketing initiatives
  • Bi-Weekly External BET Overall Production Meeting
  • Overall production updates on non BET in-house productions and update premiere dates if they’ve shifted
  • Weekly Tentpole Meetings
  • Strategize and collaborate with relevant teams + request and deliver relevant assets
  • Weekly meeting with International Compliance officer to isolate VH1 titles with international distribution
  • Weekly music synergy meeting
  • Collaborate with music team to schedule launch of BET International Amplified

Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work independently, with irregular hours and shifts, including weekends
  • Must be able to work on a Hybrid basis in the office and from home
