- Under the direction of the Director and Production Manager, plan, research, and execute a portfolio of programs and events ensuring that they are delivered effectively and according to plan and budget
- With the support of the Director and Production Manager, follow the proper procurement procedures for performers and event supplies and track through timely final payment
- Working with the Production Manager and stage and sound production teams, to coordinate and communicate event needs with artists, management and BPCA staff when necessary
- Assist with and enforce the safe setup, breakdown, and cleanup of special event stages and equipment
- Assist performing artists and their crew, stakeholders, including fellow staff, vendors, and higher management.
- Ensure that event equipment and supplies are inventoried on a regular basis and maintain storage spaces
- Usher and engage new and established audiences, assist with promotional tasks and community outreach
- Provide notes for event report at end of events and programs
- With the support of the Director and Production Manager, be responsible for training and supervising new and returning supporting event staff
- Provide information to park visitors about the BPCA organization, history, and overall philosophy The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy.
Minimum Qualifications Previous experience in event production, theater production, performance venue & festival support, production assistance is highly preferred.
