Bilingual Spanish Pain Management Scheduler/Authorization Specialist Long Island Brain and Spine 400 Potter Boulevard, Brightwaters, NY 11718 Bilingual Spanish Pain Management Scheduler/Authorization Specialist The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 3pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Authorizations for Worker’s Comp/No Fault/private insurance and insurance verification. Schedule Pain Management procedures; medical clearance to outside doctors and follow up Retrieve voicemails and help to address calls that are taken daily Scan all documents into EMR Properly document in pain management charts authorization request and status

Qualifications:

Must be Bilingual Spanish. Must have 1-2 years of authorization experience Experience with EMR and strong computer skills, Attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must. Ability to interact with multiple physicians, managers, facilities, coworkers and a high-volume of patients in a calm and professional manner. Excellent phone and interpersonal skills required. HS diploma or equivalent required.
