SUMMARY:

Mainline Metals is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an operations associate driving on-time customer orders. The Operations Associate position supports our Operations and Sales teams by facilitating the execution of steel sales orders and assisting in the proper management and documentation of inventory purchases, internal movements, and sales to customers. This is a full-time in-person role located at our corporate office in Conshohocken, PA. The salary range is $45,000 – $48,000/yr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The receipt and coordination of customer sales orders. The creation and implementation of value-added material processing orders using Mainline Metals ERP software that details steel and quality parameters of the products. Ensure accuracy of inventory items through entire procurement, sales, and delivery processes. Proactively communicate with customers regarding all aspects of their orders ensuring expectations are being met. Coordinate production, shipping, warehousing, and logistics management needs across organizational departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Required:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook) Demonstrated computer skills A high level of personal accountability and attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Desired:

Bachelor’s degree 1-3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: inventory control, logistics, account management, general accounting, customer service
