Position Summary:

We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to join our operations team. This pivotal role ensures the seamless coordination between inbound logistics, manufacturing scheduling, and outbound deliveries—guaranteeing that Zodiac boats are produced on time, to spec, and with excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in production scheduling, process improvement, and manufacturing operations, and will be motivated to make a direct impact on efficiency and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule production based on capacity and labor availability Coordinate incoming shipments of materials to support build schedules Enter and verify boat orders in the M3 ERP system Track and report labor hours, build times, and production milestones Collaborate daily with the Production Manager to ensure OTIF (on-time, in-full) boat deliveries Develop and monitor build-time KPIs for all models Conduct time studies and capacity analysis to improve scheduling accuracy Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in production planning and execution Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Service teams

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing production scheduling Strong understanding of capacity planning and materials coordination ERP experience required; Infor M3 experience highly preferred Proven track record of process improvement and lean methodology Strong communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Degree not required—results, mindset, and experience matter most Why Join Zodiac?
