Job Description
Under general supervision, performs patient scheduling functions and checks out duties in addition to a significant amount of higher-level work. Higher-level work may include a combination of TES (transaction editing system) duties, medical coding, lead responsibilities, financial coordination, etc. Monitors voicemail for the scheduling line and responds to patient messages timely. Validate, index, and upload orders into EPIC. Accept incoming calls and make outbound calls to confirm patient appointments within the division. Work closely with prior authorization teams to make sure patients are scheduled within insurance allotment periods.
