Description
This position is expected to be a field assignment. The location of the assignment can vary depending on the job and/or client. We do offer per diem for those that qualify.
Sargent & Lundy, a renowned engineering firm, is currently looking for a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a full-time Project Scheduler.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules for industrial construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and input for scheduling purposes.
Implement project controls processes and tools to ensure effective project management.
Monitor and analyze project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
Generate and present project progress reports to leadership and clients.
Qualifications

Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in project scheduling with a focus on industrial construction projects.
Strong background in project controls, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and or Microsoft Project.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a strategic mindset to identify and address potential scheduling challenges.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent trade experience.
