Production Coordinator /

Materials Expeditor Position Overview:

The Production Coordinator will support the execution of manufacturing plans derived from the Master Production Schedule, collaborating with department Supervisors to meet or exceed business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with a diverse workforce and manage multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring production and shipping timelines are clearly communicated to the installation team. Verify and confirm the bill of materials before shipment from the manufacturing facility. Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and on-site personnel to ensure project activities and schedules are coordinated effectively. Monitor production progress alongside on-site project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Ensure all project-related information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members. Assist in the creation of project work plans and update them as needed to meet evolving requirements and goals. Perform risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate issues that could impact project timelines. Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, highlighting any critical issues or areas of concern. Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites. Address and resolve any issues related to production, shipping, or installation that may arise during the project lifecycle. Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in production scheduling or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in scheduling and project tracking. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address potential issues. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly production and logistics. Valid driver’s license for driving/travel purposes. II.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in management, engineering, business, or a related field. Experience with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project. ERP experience, particularly with LN, is a plus. III.
