Responsibilities also include attention to safety according to all safety rules.) Production Reporting. Reviews production completed in the plant using information gathered from the WORR and production logs. Ensures accuracy of reporting. Notifies department manager of any discrepancies in reporting and assists in making corrections. Scans production logs. Maintains project books including production drawings, spec. boundaries, etc. Tracks and communicates drawing changes from printed and computer sources. Assists Department manager in entering and verifying work orders within the ERP system using data provided. Reconciles production quantities. Searches for and finds lost inventory; verifies and corrects inventory and productions counts; and assists in inventory management to maintain accuracy. Reconciles upcoming production quantities with material inventory/orders and works with planning on and communicates any shortages. In conjunction with Pipe Production Superintendent and Management, plans and coordinates the flow of work and materials through the Pipe Production department according to production schedule. Updates management on the progress of work (actuals vs. standards) by monitoring work and annotating work status on the visual queuing. Verifies and corrects work order routings and material lists. Run reports as required by Manager and distributes as needed. Monitors production areas and distributes required work orders in a timely fashion. Analyzes, monitors and communicates production plan for the facility. Communicates with all stake holders as required Other tasks as assigned.

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 2-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to read and interpret linear and circumference measurements using tape measures and calipers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP systems, MRP, Planning Software, Advanced Excel Skills, and Word Processing software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

APICS knowledge or certification a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities :

Ability to read and interpret product drawings. Effectively communicate in English with all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing.
