Full Job Description Job Responsibilities About Our Agency:

South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state’s public educational broadcasting network. SCETV amplifies South Carolina voices, provides educational experiences, and strengthens communities, while working to create a stronger, more connected, and informed South Carolina. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.

Job Purpose:

The production assistant supports all production needs on and off set. Primary duties of the role include making phone calls and distributing scripts or production related paperwork. Knowledge of TV/Film industry terminology are greatly preferred. The position may require working in the office or on set assisting producers as needed. Other duties include preparing scripts and production details for fellow crew members and supporting all areas of studio production before, during and after. Additionally, the production assistant coordinates and communicates with fellow production staff to help ensure smooth operations. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor’s degree in media arts or journalism. 2 years of experience in TV/Film production. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in media arts, journalism, or film production.
