We are seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to be our first dedicated middle and back-office hire. This role is a unique opportunity to shape and scale the operational foundation of our firm. The individual will work directly with a senior partner and have exposure across all aspects of fund management, from trade execution to strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Oversee and execute daily fund and firm operations, including trade settlement, cash management, and account reconciliations Maintain accurate records of transactions, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations Support preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and auditors to ensure seamless fund operations and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with third-party service providers for timely and accurate investor and regulatory reporting Manage and maintain internal systems with up-to-date investment, portfolio, and investor information Assist in onboarding of new investors and preparation of investor communications Help define, document, and refine operational processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk Contribute to projects related to fund launches, operational due diligence, and technology tool implementation Evaluate and support implementation of fund admin tools, CRM platforms, and other operational technologies Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in fund operations, accounting, middle/back office, or financial analysis (internship or full-time) Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high attention to detail Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with CRM and fund admin platforms a plus Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment High degree of integrity, professionalism, and initiative Enthusiasm for process improvement and operational excellence
