Job Description

The Learning Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless training operations and data-driven performance insights by collaborating closely with all facets of the Safety and Customer Cares (SCC) team and assisting fellow members of the Learning & Performance team. This position reports directly to the Learning & Performance Manager. We are seeking an ideal candidate who is exceptionally detail-oriented, well-organized, process-driven, and enthusiastic about optimizing learning operations and analytics.

  • Responsibilities:
  • + •Learning Management System (LMS)
Administration:
  • + Serve as the primary administrator for the LMS, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring optimal user experience.

+ Upload, configure, and maintain eLearning content including knowledge checks, training packages, and accessible formats. + Maintain and manage Docebo groups and SCC catalogs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Workday; act as main point of contact for LMS vendors and related stakeholders. + Collect LMS feedback via surveys, interviews, and stakeholder consultations to guide improvements. + Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues, partnering with internal teams and vendors; manage Jira tickets as needed. + Audit and maintain the organization of existing courses in the LMS to assess relevance, accuracy, and usability. + Champion best practices in LMS usage and ensure the platform is fully leveraged. +

  • Program Analysis & Performance Tracking:
  • + Generate and distribute completion reports, develop tracking processes and guidelines to drive 100% training compliance across all lines of business.

+ Maintain training scorecard form, set expectations, and monitor team performance, sharing data with teams and leadership. + Analyze learner feedback (e.g., trainer and course surveys) to evaluate satisfaction and present insights to stakeholders regularly. + Evaluate training programs and curricula for effectiveness, ROI, and areas for improvement (e.g., Victim Assistance Training, Trainer Certification Program, compliance learning plans, onboarding, etc.). + Develop processes to understand the return of investment in all learning solutions; work with LP team members to establish innovative solutions and recommendations based on findings. + Manage and enhance learning dashboards such as the Onboarding Monitoring and Learning Effectiveness Score dashboards. + Analyze completion rates, knowledge check data, and performance behaviors to surface trends and performance opportunities. + Partner with stakeholders to connect learning outcomes to broader KPIs (e.g., quality scores, customer satisfaction). +

  • Training Operations & Coordination:
  • + Organize and manage logistics for both on-site and virtual training sessions in our Safety and Customer Care organization.

+ Collaborate closely with the Workforce Management team to schedule training sessions efficiently. + Write and deliver training announcements to appropriate teams that include all necessary training materials, instructions on how to complete, and clear completion expectations. + Execute various administrative tasks including gathering data and updating trainer scorecards and verifying vendor site reports. + Lead daily team meetings, sprint planning and retrospective meetings aligning on project outcomes and attempting to unblock team members. + Review learning solutions and assist in necessary edits for continuous improvement. + Own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement conversations related to internal team processes, tracking, documentation, and brainstorming innovative ways to improve and increase efficiency. + Assist the team to track milestones and task completion, ensuring the successful completion of all learning solutions from start to finish. + Maintain and update the LP team’s playbook and the vendor trainer’s playbook. + Help foster a positive and nurturing environment; responsible for planning team onsite meetings, outings and creating engaging team bonding activities. + Assist Facilitator and Designer in training development and facilitation.

  • Experience
  • :•+ Proficiency in Excel including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools) for report generation and data manipulation + Knowledge of statistical analysis concepts and ability to identify trends, correlations, and performance patterns in learning data + Experience interpreting learning management system reports and translating data into actionable insights + Strong analytical mindset with ability to ask the right questions and dig deeper into data anomalies + Experience presenting data findings to various stakeholder levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership + Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences + Critical thinking skills to evaluate data quality, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements + Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and adapting quickly.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. + Capability to work independently and follow up in a timely manner. + Strong problem-solving skills and creative solution development. + Familiarity with Google Suite tools for document creation and collaboration. + Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating relationship-building and collaborative teamwork. + Self-motivated and committed to achieving excellence. + Proficiency in Jira is preferred. + Knowledge of Agile Scrum and sprint planning is a plus but not mandatory. + Be aligned with Lyft’s Purpose, Priorities and Values.

Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid The expected base pay range for this position in the Nashville area is $59,040 – $73,800. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
