Overview
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s largest small business advocacy organization, is looking to hire an Operations Generalist to join its Operations Services team. Responsibilities
The Operations Generalist is a multifunctional role supporting critical business operations through comprehensive administrative support, inventory and supply chain management, invoice processing, production and mailing logistics, and internal coordination. This role ensures smooth day-to-day workflows, accurate record-keeping, and timely execution of print and mail campaigns.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and / or exceed productivity and quality standards. Must be able to work as part of a cooperative team environment and independent of direct supervision; adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures. Some travel may be required. Performs other projects as needed.
Pay Rate – $35,000 – $45,000
Qualifications
1. High School diploma required. Associate degree or equivalent work experience a plus.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and basic math skills required.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand for long period of time and able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds. Good organization and prioritization skills; detail-oriented
4. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and postal regulations and procedures.
