Feintool Tennessee, Inc. is a precision metal-stamping manufacturer of automotive parts. We have a full-time opportunity available for experienced Maintenance Planner and Scheduler on 1st Shift. This is an hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay. In this role, your responsibility is to perform equipment maintenance and repairs. Some of what you will do:

Summary of Function:

Interact with multiple departments to plan and schedule Maintenance activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with purchasing to make sure that the correct parts are ordered for department and projects. Point of contact for all building contractors, provide and communicate schedule of all contractor activities Maintain and optimize system to track delivery and storage of required components. Develop maintenance plans and PM’s with required parts, manpower and equipment to complete assigned tasks to meet the needs of the production department. Interact with departments to make sure that their project demands are completed on time. Facilitate meetings to acquire timing and equipment releases for the scheduled maintenance. Provide updates to management as to the status of the scheduled maintenance and identify all inhibitors that could delay the on-time completion. Notify all parties immediately of any setbacks extending the completion of scheduled work. Communicate with the Maintenance team the scheduled maintenance activities. Other duties as assigned by the Manager. If you are interested in this position, and we hope you are, what we will need from you: Technical school, majoring in electronic controls or industrial maintenance (can be substituted by 10 years of hands-on experience working with automation machines) 7 to 10 years in electrical and hydraulic equipment maintenance preferred Background with hydraulic pump, valves, etc. and electrical controls Ability to read PLC ladder logic, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Knowledge of three-phase motor controls, AC/DC servo drives Some fabrication skills desired, but not required A desire to do a good job Enjoy being part of a team An acceptable attendance and background record Able to pass a drug test What we offer.
