Production Coordinator 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 3001 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37914 The Production Coordinator at Aqua-Chem supports the Master Scheduler in developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role assists with data entry, report preparation, materials tracking, and schedule coordination across departments. The Production Coordinator will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to help maintain accurate records and streamline scheduling processes.

Assist Master Planner to update and maintain master schedule to reflect changing conditions on the floors such as material and manpower availability and shifting priorities to keep it current. Maintain the accuracy and update of information in ERP to support the Master Scheduler Monitor and provide recommendations to address unexpected delays and disruptions to the planned activities Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely manner Participate in weekly production meetings, administer the production redlines, and accommodate interdepartmental coordination based on specific needs of the workflows. Generate and distribute weekly and monthly production updates and reports as requested. Ensure schedules and workflow for manufacturing operations collaborating with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and shipping in accordance to established manufacturing sequences and lead times Assist in support and management of third-party suppliers Help identify and document opportunities for continuous improvement. Assist in developing procedures as needed Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling support Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and managing multiple spreadsheets High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Good written and verbal communication skills Solid understanding of materials flow and inventory signals Solid understanding of resource loading and potential capacity restraints in manufacturing
