We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Ticketing Director to lead and innovate our ticketing operations

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating the

On Sale of New Events:
  • Collaborate with event promoters, producers, and internal stakeholders to determine on-sale dates, ticket pricing, and ticketing strategies.
  • Implement and oversee the on-sale process, ensuring a smooth and efficient ticket-purchasing experience for patrons while implementing changes and requests from agencies and clients.

2. Building New Events in the

Ticketmaster System:
  • Accurately input event details into the Ticketmaster system, including pricing structures, VIP programs, seating charts, and event descriptions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all promotional materials align with ticketing information.

3. Managing and Maintaining the

Ticketing Process:
  • Oversee all ticketing operations from event confirmation to performance.
  • Manage ticketing holds, comps, guest lists, and the release of held or unused seats as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of ticketing data in collaboration with internal departments.

4. Communicating Show Details with

Box Office Staff:
  • Provide clear and detailed event information to the box office staff to support excellent customer service.
  • Address any ticketing-related inquiries or issues raised by the box office team and assist with resolution as needed.

Creating Night-of-Show Box Office Staffing Schedules:
  • Develop and implement staffing schedules for the Bijou Theatre and the Tennessee Theatre for box office personnel on event nights.
  • Provide training to all box office staff, ensuring they are well-versed in ticketing procedures and customer service protocols.

Pulling Reports and Data:
  • Generate reports from the ticketing system to provide data insights to the marketing and communication teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to track and report on sale reports, customer demographics, and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Arts Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience with the Ticketmaster platform may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end ticketing operations, preferably in a live entertainment or performing arts setting.
  • Proficiency with Ticketmaster or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage and train box office staff.
