Manufacturing Scheduler 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 14542 El Camino Lane, Lenoir City, TN 37771 Position Summary The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the production schedule to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. This role coordinates with production, procurement, and logistics to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Essential Functions Develop, maintain, and adjust daily/weekly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. Coordinate with production supervisors, purchasing, and shipping/receiving departments to ensure materials and labor are aligned with the schedule. Monitor job progress and production output to identify delays or bottlenecks and take corrective action. Communicate production status, changes, and priorities across departments. Create and distribute work orders and job travelers to the production floor. Ensure production schedules comply with quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Analyze scheduling metrics and performance reports; recommend improvements. Assist with inventory planning and management of raw materials and finished goods. Use ERP/MRP software to maintain accurate records and update job status. 10. All other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, requiring 9 hours of work per day Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. The position may require work on flexible shifts, additional hours and weekends. Travel Limited to no travel is required for this position. Education • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management or related field and/ or 2-5 years of production scheduling experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Experience with MRP planning tools, preferably E2 Shop Tech System. Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling or production planning. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JobBOSS, Epicor, etc.). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on deadlines and efficiency. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

$55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
