Full-Time Relocation Assistance Available – No Our Award-Winning Client , a respected name in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to take full ownership of daily IT and network operations at its high-output production facility. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for a self-starter who excels at solving technical issues quickly and independently, with direct visibility and impact on production uptime and ERP system readiness. Key Responsibilities Manage daily IT support operations, including PC installations, software updates, user account management , and printer troubleshooting . Monitor and maintain local network infrastructure , including routers, switches , and general connectivity across all departments. Provide on-the-ground support for production and shop floor systems , ensuring continuous operation and minimizing disruptions. Support SAP workstation setup and readiness , assisting with implementation and ongoing use post go-live. Act as a liaison between the local plant and the global IT team , coordinating issue escalation, updates, and documentation protocols. Maintain up-to-date records of hardware inventory , software licenses , and documentation within SharePoint . Collaborate with maintenance and controls teams to troubleshoot occasional PLC or interface hardware issues . Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; an Associate degree with strong hands-on experience will be considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or network support roles within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment . Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, production-focused setting. Working knowledge of ERP system support and user access management ; prior experience with SAP or Oracle highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively support both office and production floor teams . Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to IT support.
