Overview Role:
Production Scheduler The Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves working closely with various departments to optimize production flow and meet customer demands. Responsibilities Schedule all Orders and ensure they are completed – Prototype to Production Work with Procurement and logistics to ensure materials arrive on time to meet our scheduled needs. Work with Supervisors and material handlers to ensure product has been staged and verified prior to use Maintain multiple department schedules to meet our manufacturing and customer requirements. Operate and maintain digital inventory control/ERP systems (Visual) -Supporting material handlers to ensure backflushing is accurate and complete in a timely manner Report on production KPI’s daily Review and implement the long-term capacity planning for the facility Collect data; actual versus planned; tracking / documenting deficiencies and trends and providing information are required Provide timing to Production Control/Program management Work with other PakFab facilities when coordinating the movement of product between plants. Performing regular cycle counts on raw materials, reporting discrepancies and a root cause analysis Notify Production Control of any scheduling changes. Coordinate and execute year end physical inventory counts for PFU Coordinate the movement of C2C components to/from PakFab facilities Other duties as required Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles. Proficiency in using production scheduling software and tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Work Conditions Travel to off-site locations may be required including international travel Safety equipment will be required, e.g., CSA approved steel-toed safety boots, etc. Overtime as required #
