If you like a fun, fast paced environment, and love dogs and cats (and occasionally other pets), we have the job for you! We are seeking a warm, friendly, energetic, hard-working, and dependable individual with a positive attitude with a strong work ethic. The kennel technician is responsible for the day-to-day care of boarders. This includes feeding, watering, medicating, cleaning, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of the pets in our care. Applicants must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets, the dexterity and confidence to administer medications, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or other ailments. Flexible schedules are available but you must be able to work some weekends and holidays as needed. You must be self-motivated, be punctual, have reliable transportation, and be able to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test. We are a team and you must be a team player. It takes all of us working together to make our facility the exceptional place that it is. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Job Responsibilities

• Always be in position and prepared to work by the start of each scheduled shift
• Feed, water, and medicate pets according to owner directions
• Clean runs and maintain sanitation in the kennel
• Maintain proper records of boarder stays using our software
• Watch over boarders throughout your shift to ensure that they are in good physical and mental condition
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Be willing and able to teach other staff members kennel skills.
• Organize and structure work for maximum efficiency. Set and balance priorities. Job Skills and Qualifications
• Must love dogs (of all sizes) and cats
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have weekend and holiday availability
