Your Role as a Part-time Bank Operations Specialist I As a part-time Bank Operations Specialist I, you’ll play a vital role in our mission.

Your responsibilities will include:

Follow and embrace the SmartBank Way Provides excellent customer service to clients and/or fellow associates by investigating complaints, resolving issues, and providing other assistance as needed. Ensures documentation is maintained and scanning completed according to departmental standards. Performs new account documentation review as assigned. Processes documentation account exceptions in a consistent manner as established by departmental standards. Completes new account documentation scanning and indexing in a timely manner. Makes appropriate entries into the core system, general ledger, or correspondent accounts. Completes workflow tasks in a timely manner. Assists with data validation reviews to align with process and procedure standards. Creates appropriate tickets (FIS/Fresh Service/etc.) for correction of errors. Completes accurate tracking of time spent on specific tasks. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures required record keeping of documentation is maintained for the department. Attend assigned training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two to five years of related experience in banking Exceptional customer service skills. Work Schedule The Part-Time Bank Specialist I typically works during standard business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, not exceeding 29 hours per week.
