Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Expeditor ensures the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for smooth operations across departments. This role is vital in maintaining production schedules, minimizing delays, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery timelines, and resolve delays. Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement to prevent shortages. Track shipments and update internal teams on delivery progress. Collaborate with project managers and department leads to align material availability with project schedules. Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and supplier communications. Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance. Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to avoid disruptions. Prepare reports on procurement performance and delivery metrics.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or business is a plus. Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain coordination. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments. Understands weight distribution when loading and towing. Proficient with properly securing loads and using softners.
