The focus of this position is to work closely with cross functional departments to collect and analyze data related to franchise growth, program and technology adoption, and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, this role will maintain an ongoing spreadsheet of projects to help leadership understand and resolve resource constraints, and provide thought leadership and support to strategy development with the Strategic Operations Leadership team. The Operations Excellence Specialist will also assist in analyzing data to support larger projects including resource development and transfer to training platforms in partnership with the Franchise Learning and Development organization. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide data analysis as needed for projects in the Strategic Operations Department. Work with Strategic Operations directors/managers to create products needed to properly communicate growth initiatives both internally and externally. Develop and edit strategic presentations for senior leaders. Contribute to discussions that consist of business insight associated with strategic initiatives. Assist with implementation and evaluation of processes, programs, or business models after the analysis, design, and development phases are completed for a project. Organize and monitor department pages and resources within
SERVPRONET.
Develop tools needed to support broader strategic initiative launches such as mock Profit and Loss statements, process flow diagrams, etc. Support larger projects including training development and inputting material into KnowHow. Assist with the development of a Stages of Development model that incorporates all service lines and aligns with the growth-ready requirements as established by the SERVPRO Senior Leadership Team. Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to intake, process and synthesize data in a manner needed to support decision makers. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and provide validation of results. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on the business need. Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving skills, to be able to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. Ability to execute/manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing and changing priorities. Complex use of Microsoft Excel and Smart Sheets including pivot tables, to analyze and communicate data. Advanced use of PowerPoint or other presentation software to visualize data in easy-to-understand diagrams, graphs, etc. Experience with business intelligence tools is preferred. Experience with training programs such as KnowHow is a plus. Education Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Management, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Working Conditions Fast-paced, high-pressure office environment. Standard working hours, based on a 40-hour work week. Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule. Minimal travel as required for business needs.
