Leeville Pke, Lebanon, TN 37090 Job Summary The Shop Foreman/Service Expeditor position at Aqua Sport Marine will play a critical role in assisting the service manager by overseeing daily operations within the shop, and ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong leader preferably with mechanical knowledge and expertise in service, who can help manage the daily technician needs, parts sourcing, and overall flow of the entire service department. This position will assist the service manager in coordinating the repair orders/workflow, increasing the shops efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service while ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient operations. Expedite the parts gathering and ordering process for parts needed on repair orders for warranty and non-warranty jobs. Work with our vendors closely to ensure efficient workflow while providing excellent communication. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly when needed. Assist the service manager in overall lot flow with boat movement during technician work, as well as customer pick-up and drop-off. When applicable assist the technicians in troubleshooting, problem solving and overall directional leadership. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all service employees. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in marine service preferred. Strong skills in sourcing, parts control, and procurement management. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors and suppliers. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
