Dental Office Scheduler Essex Family Dental 11 Market Pl, Essex Junction, VT 05452 Join Our Team as a Treatment Coordinator! At our practice, our coordinators are vital to practice success, serving as the foundation of patient care, who listen to and exceed our patients’ expectations.
Role Overview:
As a Care Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing our providers’ schedules while upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include balancing the schedule to align with the practice’s production, efficiency, and collection goals. You’ll be the bridge between our patients and providers, fostering relationships and ensuring that patient care remains our top priority. Your approach will promote our practice through trust, sensitivity, and a focus on meeting patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming Patients:
Greet patients warmly with genuine empathy and enthusiasm.
Effective Communication:
Maintain clear and effective verbal and written communication with patients.
Information Gathering:
Collect and manage patient information to enhance their experience.
Schedule Management:
Coordinate with providers to review schedules, identify obstacles, and set goals.
Financial Handling:
Collect estimated out-of-pocket payments and prepare financial arrangements.
Record Verification:
Ensure patient records and appointment details are accurate.
Documentation:
Document financial arrangements, check-outs, and appointment notes accurately.
External Communication:
Handle communication with outside facilities, such as pharmacies and referral sources.
Appointment Management:
Manage and respond to unscheduled appointments efficiently.
Compliance:
Ensure all computer records adhere to office standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a dental office and 2 years in customer service
REQUIRED.
Skills:
Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and work 36-40 hours per week, with availability for weekends or evenings.

Benefits:

Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday per month, you would get a weekday off during that week.
