Shipping Coordinator Job Description The Shipping Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing inventory, processing received items, and ensuring timely shipment of goods. This position requires proficiency in tracking orders through Excel-based computer programs and conducting inventory audits to maintain accuracy. Additionally, the role involves packaging inventory, building boxes, and organizing the shipping area. Responsibilities Track inventory and process received items as well as items that need to be shipped. Package inventory and monitor through Excel-based computer programs. Ensure timely delivery of packages and track incoming orders. Perform inventory audits to verify correct items are being sent and received. Build boxes and organize the shipping area. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory tracking and processing. Experience in shipping and receiving. Ability to use Excel-based computer programs for tracking. Strong organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in performing inventory audits. Ability to build boxes and organize the shipping area efficiently. Work Environment The work environment is a small, family-owned machine shop offering a close-knit and supportive atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairhope, Alabama. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr.
